Protecting Our Students exists to standardize and unify school safety nationwide. We provide the definitive framework to assess, score, and improve the safety of every school, giving communities clarity and peace of mind.
Our Story
What began as a national advocacy effort evolved into the creation of a first-of-its-kind, proprietary safety assessment system—because standardization requires a common, measurable framework.
Our Founder: Robert Jordan
Founder, Visionary, and Terrorism Liaison Officer
Driven by a mission to end fragmented school safety, Robert Jordan combines entrepreneurial vision with deep security expertise as a Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO). This unique perspective—seeing both the systemic gaps and the potential for scalable solutions—enabled him to pioneer the proprietary safety framework at the heart of POS. His thought leadership, demonstrated through 100+ publications, reflects a lifelong commitment to turning complex safety problems into clear, standardized protocols.
