Despite the continuous assault on students, gun safety remains disorganized, decentralized, and inefficient. Methods and approaches vary and while some states, like Colorado and Virginia, have many preventive resources, others do not.

Alyssa’s Law is critical legislation addressing the issue of law enforcement response time when a life-threatening emergency occurs because time equals life.
