What We Do

Advancing the Approach to School Safety: We Help Pioneer Renewed Strategies to Dramatically Enhance the Frequency and Methodology of Campus Site Safety Audits in K-12 Schools.

We have aligned with the digital assessment apps SITE|SAFETYNET℠ , which provides schools with an effective, systematic, and ongoing method to evaluate their safety measures. This approach enables schools to identify vulnerabilities, apply targeted improvements, and thus continually enhance their safety measures. These regular assessments also create a culture of safety awareness, where every member of the school community becomes a stakeholder in preventing crises.

SITE|SAFETYNET℠ is an advanced digital-age and technological school assessment and annual reassessment tool that is being developed in collaboration with the nation’s top K-12 security professionals. Our mobile software app, intended to enhance student safety, undergoes continuous improvement, scaling, and updates with the invaluable assistance of these experts. The app will identify vulnerabilities on campus, both interior and exterior, and provide proactive areas of upgrading and recommendations for ongoing safety improvement. It is not the only answer by any means, but rather, one innovation allowing schools to increase their security posture without creating a prison-like experience.

New technology, including weapons detection, access control, video management systems, and social media monitoring, are essential tools but are not foolproof. Safety and Vulnerability Assessment and Annual Reassessment Technology are critical components of a school safety plan.

The app allows for proactive measures to be taken to keep our students safe, such as detecting outdated and identifying unrecognized security protocol lapses and providing REPORTS for improving safety for staff and students in the event of an active shooter.

We communicate with local schools nationwide to implement the app and correct potential weaknesses. We speak directly with K-12 schools, Principals, Administrators, Safety Coordinators, Districts, Superintendents, and School Boards to measure schools for gun safety strengths and deficiencies.

  • Mass shootings in the U.S. affect so many of us, and with the knowledge that our school-age children are potentially at risk, our goal is to eliminate this danger.

  • Today, students feel stress and anxiety and are concerned about their safety and our parents, teachers, and communities.

  • At the K-12 level, gun safety policies have been disorganized, decentralized, inefficient, and consist of various methods and approaches, ranging from adequate to ineffective performance.

  • K-12 school gun safety policies and procedures are currently NOT uniform. Some cities and states implement different strategies. We standardize and unify a robust best-of-class/practice policy nationwide.

  • Our nonprofit, Protecting Our Students, merges gun safety and security into a standardized policy that is applied uniformly to K-12 schools nationwide, keeping our children safe on campus.

  • POS measures strengths and deficiencies among school districts nationwide and provides the recommended modifications and reforms for adaptation by implementing the SITE|SAFETYNET℠, our universal school gun safety assessment tool.

  • Given that no school is alike, we unify gun safety policies to align with school demographics:

    – Primary and Secondary

    – Geographic Locals

    – Building, Land Size, and Enrollment/Teacher/Admin Size

  • Join us! POS is building a collaboration with Certified School Safety Professionals, School Security & Crises Preparedness specialists, Law Enforcement, and Government Agencies. Experts and professionals are committed to providing a comprehensive best-practice Emergency Operating Plan (EOP) to achieve our student’s highest level of gun security.

We Analyzes school-safety data points to standardize and unify best-practice metrics nationwide.
